What Is a Zodiac?

Edward Wayne Edwards was convicted of five murders before his death in federal custody in 2011. Many researchers believe he was responsible for far more — including the crimes attributed to the Zodiac Killer, who murdered couples on lovers' lanes across Northern California between 1968 and 1974.

This podcast goes deeper than the body count. It examines the cipher architecture Edwards left embedded in his communications — bind runes hidden in letterforms, descending acrostics in ransom notes, Armanen runic signatures in closing phrases nobody could read for fifty years.

The crosshair as Sigil. Steganography as invisible ink. Every letter a credential. This series decodes it all.

"He hid his identity in plain sight, in a language no one around him spoke, across fifty years of correspondence that the entire country was holding in its hands without knowing how to read it."
